Various advantages of coffee packaging and degassing valve

The coffee is the product that gets merely change once it involves grips with the regional weather. Even the microbes enter the bag and can spoil the total freshness and style of the coffee packed in.

Coffee packaging (Emballage café) protects coffee products from external gases therefore selecting the proper kind of coffee packaging can have an immediate impact on the preservation of quality and freshness of coffee.

Roasted coffee desires protection against oxygen and moisture. We advocate using high barrier foil with a unidirectional degassing valve for extending the freshness of coffee. The one-way degassing valve was originally developed for preserving the fragrance of coffee.

Swiss Pac offers different types of coffee packaging bags (Emballage café) such as:
  •         Stand up pouch with zipper,
  •        Side gusset bags,
  •        Side gusset seal on sides,
  •        Flat bottom pouches etc

One of the effective packaging solutions used for maintaining the freshness of coffee is, degassing valve (Valve de dégazage). The freshly roasted coffee is highly sensitive to air, without protection of product it would not retain its flavor. Therefore coffee must be packed tightly immediately after treatment.

Using a degassing valve (Valve de dégazage)., coffee can be packed immediately after the roasting process, while retaining its aroma and flavor. It allows CO2 to escape from the package without allowing oxygen back into the package.

Swiss Pack offers degassing valves which are included with various bags styles such as stand up pouch, side gusset bags, flat bottom bags, vacuum bags, side seal bags etc.
